Stephanie Blum:
Throughout her career, comedian Stephanie Blum has brought audiences into hysterics with her make-no-apologies approach to stand up. As a mother of three and former school psychologist, this street smart Brooklyn native has a strong opinion on just about everything, especially parenting, marriage and her most guilty pleasure, pop-culture.

When not busy making people laugh at comedy clubs in New York, L.A. and Las Vegas, Stephanie appears on TLC’s newest comedy series, #WhatSheSaid as well as Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, HBO Comedy Minutes, and Country Music Television’s Top 20 Funniest Videos. TLC and Discovery both recently discovered Stephanie’s web series, Moms Rule! and contracted with her to appear in two network series.

In her one woman stage show, When I Cough I Wet Myself, Blum’s motivational style inspires audiences and she’s also a contributor to Child Magazine, Parents Magazine, The Hot Mom’s Handbook, The Comedy Thesaurus and more.
Stephanie was crowned New York’s Funniest Female, chosen for HBO’s U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, and recognized by The New York Times as “a woman with a sitcom life,” consisting of her mentally ill brother and hypochondriac father.

Stephanie Blum holds a New York State license in School Psychology. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Oneonta and a master’s degree in Education as well as a Certification in School Psychology from Brooklyn College. For twelve years, Blum served as a resident School Psychologist for the New York City Board of Education where she provided family therapy, collaborated with social workers and guidance counselors, performed psychological counseling as well as conducted teacher-student conferences on the high school level.

Owned and Operated by seasoned Comedian Andres Fernandez since 2007, the VENTURA HARBOR COMEDY CLUB has put Ventura on the map for stand-up. We have featured some of the largest names in entertainment while nurturing the growth of local talent. Laughter is the perfect gift for every celebration, especially Birthdays, Corporate Parties, Holidays and Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties.

We expanded our club in 2012 adding our Blue Room Lounge, which offers one of the best views of the harbor and a cozy Chicago Blues night club ambiance.

Our regular Comedy show hours are Thursday, Friday & Saturday's at 7PM,
and music and concerts at 9PM.
Sundays are often special events at
Noon, 3pm or 7pm. Check listing for times.
Our age requirement is now 18+.
